Nice to “meet” you!
Fueled by intellectual curiosity and caffeine. I get started every morning with a big cup of coffee. But it is my curiosity that drives me. Drives me to raise questions that no one asked, and uncovering answers, sometimes hidden in plain sight. These answers turn ideas into actions, and these actions become business results. Through my career, I have delivered results for startups, nonprofits, and Fortune 500 companies in various industries and sectors.
I’m also very curious about the world, specifically the food from around the world. I would also call myself a foodie and an aspiring globetrotter. I am fortunate enough to live in New York City, and that means I can “travel” the world just by visiting different neighborhoods every day.
This site started as a learning journal. I consider myself a lifetime learner. The world is always changing, and the field of marketing is always evolving. This blog was a place to keep track of each lesson. This blog dates back to 2008 when it was created more for personal than public consumption, with spelling mistakes and all. It is the most authentic representation of growth.
Over the years, I have learned a lot of tips and tricks that I have shared on this blog. I’ve helped numerous organizations solve marketing and business problems of all shapes and sizes. Nevertheless, I will forever consider myself a student, of marketing and of life. I will forever stay curious of the world around me.
I would love to hear from you if you have any marketing questions, or just want to chat. Feel free to email me – Jeannie [at] jeanniechan.com. I am also active on Twitter @jeannie_chan. I am always up for a coffee chat at any coffee shops around NYC.
